President - Russ Phillips

Russ was with the Army as a physical training instructor, before joining the club in 1966, & was a regular player for the next 4 years.

He went on to play for other clubs until he retired from playing & went into coaching & management.

Russ returned to the club as first team manager in 1993 & remained in this position until the end of the 1995 season.

In 2001 Russ became President of the club.

Chairman - Brian Boulton

Brian has been involved with the club over the past few years.

He first became involved with the club when he, along with Deane Farrell managed the second team, he has also sponsored the team & has generously provided extra kit & equipment.

Brian became chairman two seasons ago, after our chairman on many years, Terry Reilley retired.

Club secretary - Natalie Smillie

Natalie has been involved with the football club since 2010, where she started as the minute secretary & was swiftly appointed to the main secretary role.

Natalie states "I love being part of the football club, the committee are amazing & the players have always shown much commitment to me throughout the years"

Now having 2 children she hopes that her son will play for Pulborough one day, as did his Dad, Uncle, Great Uncle & Grandad!

Natalie is very proud to be part of the club & to have been involved in their achievements over the past years, & is looking forward to enjoying more.

Treasurer - Colleen Pearce

Colleen has been involved with the club, in various positions, since the mid 1980's.

Her first position was as secretary & social secretary & held these positions until 1991, when she then became Chairman [Chairwomen!] of the club, until the following year.

In the 1989/90 season the club decided to start a Sunday league side & Colleen was appointed [volunteered!] to jointly manage the side, as well as being the official kit washer!

Colleen stepped down from the committee in the mid 1990's, when her 2 daughters were born, but was still an avid supporter, standing on the touch line in all weathers!

In the mid 2000's she was asked to rejoin the committee as Treasurer, which she gladly accepted.

Child Welfare Officer - Amy Hayes

Amy is married to Tom Hayes, who runs the U7's junior team, they have 3 boys who play football for the junior teams.

She has been with the club since the Junior teams were established & administers the appropriate paperwork, that is required for running youth teams.

Amy states "It is fantastic to see so many enthusiastic young players turning out each week, enjoying the game & making use of the amazing ground we have here"

Training Coach - Jason Gibbons

Jason is our newest member of the club, joining this season as our official trainer.

He has started to put the players through their paces each week at training, & the hard work is paying off, as it can clearly be seen that their stamina & abilities have increased.

First Team Manager - Craig Jupp

Craig started playing football for the club at 15 years old, & continued to play through the men's teams until at the age of 38 years, he decided to "hang up his boots".

He was his Uncle's assistant for the then Youth team - Pulborough Pythons, for 4 years & coached some of the young players, who went on to play for the senior teams.

Craig has been manager of the First team for the last 4 seasons.

He states "I have always been proud to be part of Pulborough FC & have had the honour of playing with & managing quality players"

It's very much a family affair for Craig, as not only has he been involved in the club, but also his Dad Malcolm, his Uncle John & brother Shaun & hope this continues with his son Luca.

Team Assistant - Deane Farrell

Deane has been involved with the football club for many years, firstly as a player for many seasons, before going into management with the Pulborough Patriots Club, which he managed & coached for three years.

He was asked to come back to Pulborough FC to manage & coach the second team, which he has been doing for the last five years - sadly during season 2022/2023, we had to disband the second team due to non availability of players, hopefully for the season 2024/2025 we will again be able to field two senior teams.

Deane is a valuable member of the club, who will always be the first to volunteer with fundraising. getting pitch ready for match days & much more!

U10's Team Manager - Rob Davies

Rob has been managing the team for 3 years now, watching them grow from U7's team to now being U10 team.

The team play in the Arun & Chichester league & have had much success, along with the tournaments they have entered.

Rob has 2 sons who regularly play for the Junior teams.

U9's Team Manager

Matt joined Pulborough FC as a player in 1998 & played in various positions, mainly in the first team throughout his 17 years of playing for the club.

He went on to become first team manager for a few seasons, before taking a back seat as club treasurer.

Matt retired from playing & as club treasurer in 2014, but became involved again in 2019 with the junior teams, by bringing his son Ethan along to play. Within a short space of time Matt was appointed as U5 team manager & has watched the team grow, not just in age [now the U8's], but also in enthusiasm & skills.

This is the U9's second season in the Arun & Chichester Sunday league.

U7's Team Manager - Tom Hayes

Tom started the U6 team last season, who will be the U7's for this season.

He is married to our Child Welfare Officer, Amy, who have 3 boys that all play within the teams.
